Our Ministry

Assisi Early Learning Center is a ministry of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Madison, Mississippi. St. Francis, the patron saint of our parish, spent his formative years in Assisi, Italy, and committed his life to serve God and caring for God's creation. We hope that a child's formative years at Assisi Early Learning Center will shape children into Disciples of Christ who love their neighbor and all of God's Creation, just like St. Francis did.


St. Francis of Assisi also had a tremendous impact on many students and followers who studied under his direction. One of the most notable of these followers was St. Anthony of Padua. In the same spirit, St. Francis of Assisi Parish hopes that Assisi Early Learning Center is just the beginning of the Catholic education continuum located in southern Madison County. Just as St. Francis of Assisi spread his knowledge and faith to St. Anthony of Padua, we encourage our families to continue their academic and spiritual development by learning more about St. Anthony Catholic School as the next step in their child's educational journey.
